Answers, and what a wrong one tells you

A

1. Asr If your child circles Isha, say the prayers in order: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha. Isha is already in the picture, so the gap is Asr.

2. Bismillah If your child circles Hello, say that Muslims say Bismillah before they start to eat.

3. Wash your face If your child circles Wash your feet, read the boxes in order. The face comes before the arms, so the gap is the face.

B

1. Say thank you in her head, Whisper her words quietly If your child circles the masjid card, say Zara does not need to wait. She can make a dua in bed, right now.

2. Look for: A short private request or thank you to Allah, such as asking for help.

C

1. Dua → Talking to Allah from the heart; Worship → Doing things to be close to Allah; Hisn al-Muslim → A book of short daily duas

2. Ask for help: Ask Allah to help me learn to read, Ask Allah to keep my nan well · Say thank you: Thank Allah for my family, Thank Allah for my dinner

3. In bed, In the garden, On the way to school If your child circles only the masjid card, say that Allah hears a dua in bed, in the garden, and on the way to school too.

4. Look for: A short, sincere thank you or request addressed to Allah.

D

1. Look for: Says no, because a dua can be in any language and Allah understands all of them. If your child says Ali is right, ask: does Allah understand English? Allah understands every language, so a dua can be in any of them.

E

1. Look for: A real time in the day for a dua, with a reason.

Words to use

Say“Where could you talk to Allah today? What would you say?”
Instead of“Here are the exact words to say. Copy me.”
