3. 9 If your child wrote 8, they counted on only 1 from 7. Ask them to count on 2 more, one number at a time.

B

C

1. kind If your child circled red hair, that is how someone looks. Qualities are about how we treat people and the world.

4. shares toys, helps a friend

D

1. Look for: Says Ruby is wrong because different people can both be fine, and difference is not a mistake. If your child says Ruby is right, ask: can two friends like different games and both still be good people? Help them see difference is not a mistake.

E

1. Look for: Names one way they differ from a friend. Says why that is good.

Words to use

Say“What is one thing you are good at, and one quality you have?”
Instead of“Tell them everyone is the same, so being different does not matter.”

After the sheet

Take turns to name one quality the other has, like kind or brave. Then say one way you are different and why that is good.

Tick what your child got right in StudyDen. Anything missed comes back in a later Look back box, so there's no need to redo the sheet.
