Answers, and what a wrong one tells you

A

1. Al-Qadir → All-Powerful; Al-Alim → All-Knowing; Al-Basir → All-Seeing

2. Jibreel (AS) Ask your child which angel carried the words from Allah to the Prophet ﷺ. Mikail and Israfil have other duties.

3. Tawrah → Musa (AS); Zabur → Dawud (AS); Injeel → Isa (AS); Quran → Muhammad ﷺ If your child joins the Zabur to Musa (AS), ask which prophet the Psalms were given to. Musa (AS) received the Tawrah.

B

1. Amanah (keeping promises) If your child circles Hilm or Tawadu, ask: did Zara stay calm, or did she keep her promise? Keeping a promise is Amanah.

C

1. Sidq (honesty) If your child circles Amanah, ask what Ali did with the truth. Telling what really happened is Sidq.

2. Amanah (keeping promises) If your child circles Sidq, ask whether Omar told the truth or looked after something that belonged to someone else.

3. Hilm (staying calm) If your child circles Tawadu, ask what Leo did with his feelings when things went wrong. Staying patient and calm is Hilm.

4. Tawadu (being humble) If your child circles Hilm, ask whether Bea was angry or whether she was gentle and kind to others. Being humble is Tawadu.

D

1. Look for: Tawadu means being humble, gentle and not boasting, so showing off is the opposite. If your child only says Kit is wrong, ask what tawadu means: being gentle, kind and not showing off.

E

1. Look for: A named everyday action at home that keeps a promise or looks after something carefully.

Words to use

Say“Which quality is that, and what did the person do to show it?”
Instead of“Tell them the answer straight away.”

After the sheet

Act out a small story at the table: one person does a good deed, the other names the quality, then swap roles.

Tick what your child got right in StudyDen. Anything missed comes back in a later Look back box, so there's no need to redo the sheet.
