Answers, and what a wrong one tells you

A

1. Sujood If your child circles Qiyam, say we have just stood up from Ruku. Next we go down for Sujood.

2. Doing good deeds

3. Palace If your child circles School or Mountain, remind them of Yusuf's (AS) story. Ask: where did he become a helper to the king?

B

1. Yes, it is sadaqah If your child says it does not count, they think only seen acts count. Ask: does helping at home still help someone?

C

1. Openly, everyone can see If your child circles secret, ask: can the class see Mia? If yes, it is done openly.

2. In secret, only Allah knows If your child circles openly, ask: is anyone close enough to see? If not, it is in secret.

3. Openly, everyone can see

4. In secret, only Allah knows

D

1. Look for: Says Zara is wrong: secret giving still counts as sadaqah because Allah knows and sees it. If your child agrees with Zara, they think only seen acts count. Ask: who sees a secret gift? Does Allah see it?

E

1. Look for: Three kind acts, each marked openly or in secret, with a short reason for each.

Words to use

Say“Who would see this gift? Would it still be kind if no one knew?”
Instead of“Tell them giving only counts when other people can see it.”

After the sheet

Pick three small kind jobs at home, like tidying a shelf. Decide together whether each one is done openly or quietly, then do them.

Tick what your child got right in StudyDen. Anything missed comes back in a later Look back box, so there's no need to redo the sheet.
